Hi, I am Thaddeus Smith.
Welcome to my website! This site showcases a sampling of my skills and accomplishments in the workplace, in the university, and it provides some basic information about me.
My people skills and technical knowledge frequently put me in the top salesperson position in a retail jewelry store. As an Americorps tutor and mentor, I helped improve the academic achievement for 28 out of 30 special needs students in a vocational high school. In 2010, I was the first student in the Communication Department at Youngstown State University (Youngtown, Ohio) to be recognized and honored by Communication professors by receiving the Hugenburg Memorial Award for the Outstanding Student in the Communication Department.
Some words that best describe my personality: a people person, competitive, prepared, thorough, detailed, a problem-solver and I enjoy empowering others to become successful.
Every day is an adventure with new hopes and new opportunities to be discovered. I love the outdoors and I enjoy maintaining relationships with my family that are located in 16 states and in 43 cities within the United States.
Some of my hobbies include: hiking on rugged trails and cycling on bicycle pathways through rural areas. On ancestry.com, I maintain a database of nearly 1,400 ancestors as a continuation of a hobby I began at age 7.
